amazing grace

I woke up today and put on my mp3 to listen to John Bevere's short messages, and today he spoke to me about Faith.

FAITH is the pipeline to all the power that comes with God's grace. Grace gives us the ability to please God and Faith gives us access to grace. That's why the bible says 'without faith, it is impossible to please God.'

They say mercy is when you don't get what you deserve (i.e. pardoning when you did something wrong) and grace is when you get something you don't deserve (i.e. presents when it's not your birthday :p)

When i look back at all the mess that i once was in, and think about how God graciously and not forcefully carried me out of the piles of mess over and over again, i can't help but thank God in my heart. Thank you Lord, for your saving grace for i did not deserve what you've done for me.

When i think about how blessed i am to have Jesus by my side through it all, behind me in all the things i do and going before me wherever i go, i am thankful for this luxurious life He has given me.

Thank you Lord. I am truly grateful.

And thank you for revealing to me the importance of contentment. My fresh bread for the day. =)

Okies, back to work. Let not your faith limit what God can do for you for He is able to do immeasurably MORE than all we ASK or IMAGINE, according to his power that is at work within us. (Ephesians 3:20)

How much can you imagine? Have faith.
