WHERE have you gone to?
WHY did you disappear?
WHAT are you doing?
More than i would want to admit, i need to talk to you now.

My 23rd Birthday
I wanna say a BIG BIG thank you to everyone who celebrated my birthday with me, sent me wishes and called me just to say "Happy Birthday!"
The surprises just get better each year! Last year i had 2 cakes; this year i have 3! Last year, they gave me a small bear; this year they gave me a HUGE bear! If we celebrate again next year, they might just have to get me a real bear.
I've said my heartiest thank you(s) on facebook but i still wanna thank you all once again, cos you really deserve it! =)
Thank You Joyce, Jiena, Maria, Yin Yin, Cheryl, Michelle, Suen Hao and May. Thank you so much for the surprise bbq breakfast and putting so much effort into it, making it such a purple, pretty, beautiful, glamorous, heart-warming and touching event for me. Your thoughtfulness is a treasure and the heart you've put in has truly touched mine. =)

Thank You Shaun, Hannah, Jason, Sophia, Nigel, Michele, Mabel, Cheryl and Michelle for the surprise dinner although i sort-of knew about it. Thanks also, Aaron, Silas and Sherman for coming although i don't really know you that well yet. Thanks for all the effort guys, in cooking, making ridiculously beautiful and delicious cakes, for making time from all your tests and assignments, and just being there to celebrate with me. I am truly honoured and i feel like the luckiest girl ever!

Thank You Dad and Mum, for bringing me into this world and raising me up in a godly manner. That is the most precious gift you've given me, alongside the world's most mischievous brother and most loving sister. =p

And last but certainly not least, thank You Jesus, for watching over me all these 23 years, walking me through every step of the way and loving me every moment of my life. You are the reason i sing, i dance, i celebrate, i smile but most importantly, You are why i choose to live. ♥

Remember Lot's wife
According to Ps Kong Hee, that verse in Luke 17: 32 is the 2nd shortest verse in the bible. The first being, "Jesus wept." i presume.
I was listening to Ps Kong Hee's sermon about 'Not Looking Back'. The 4 things he asked us not to look back to are:
1) Past sins
2) Past failures/defeats
3) Past hurts
4) Past victories
With Past Sins, he said that God forgives AND forgets, so we don't have to keep telling ourselves how sinful we are. He washes away our sins and takes off our labels that say 'sinner' or 'liar' or 'adulterer' or 'slanderer', etc.
With Past failures, he said that no great man hasn't met with failures. And success comes not to the person who never fails but to the one who never quits. Don't brood over past failures, learn from it and move on.
With Past Hurts, he quoted someone else and said something like this, don't nurture and feed your hurts, reciting it over and over again in your mind, cursing and hating what has happened. Instead, release it to God and let Him do the rest.
About Past victories, Ps Kong Hee said we should not dwell on our past victories and become proud. Conceited, in my own words. We should always acknowledge that our victories come from God and humbly learn from others.
The angels told Lot to bring his family, run away and not look back. Lot's wife looked back and instantaneously became a pillar of salt.
Remember Lot's wife. I should stop looking back. I have no reason to look back anyway..
I think God has something to tell me about forgiveness too because you see, after i listened to the sermon about not looking back, i listened to one about forgiveness. Today at church, Mark also shared on forgiveness during communion. And to add to that, Jonathan who was assigned to share his devotion every sunday (mine being tuesdays), also shared on forgiveness. Hmm, are you telling me something God?
Who is it you want me to forgive? Is it my nasty neighbours? or my cheeky coursemates? ;p just kidding!
Here ends my week everyone. A new day is dawning!
Cheerios peeps! ♥

Free day!
Free day today so i get to wake up late and take my own sweet time.
And i wonder if i could wear my inside out and my outside in. U know.. shout out what is inside and hide what is outside? Nevermind, i might regret it if that happens.
This post is actually just to ask about the layout. Is this any better? Or too distracting?
My 99th post.

My 99th post.
Layout changes, again.
I 'simply' chose another layout cos i think i'm growing out of the previous one already.
Too childish.. ;p
Neeways, give me some comments, would ya?
Is this better? worse? terrible? ok? good? colours matching?
Few more posts to my 100th!

DEMOLISH!
We had an amazing night of worship and Ps Lucas prophesied over each and every one of us just now. Phenomenal is the word.
Something Ps Lucas said really struck me. He said, for new things to happen, the old stuff has to be demolished. And immediately it stirred something in me.
Well, it does seem like there is much to demolish for me. To quote Ps Annie, "all the YUCK." So all yucky stuff like fats have to go before we start building good stuff like muscles. HAHA.
By tomorrow, i would have been to the gym 5 times in 7 days. Woo hoo!!!
Sore muscles everywhere! And boy, i didn't even realise there are muscles between my thigh and my knees too!
So pumped up after tonight's session and it was so good! And all of us got even closer now. Someone's been named Winnie The Pooh, someone Piglet, someone Eeyore, someone Tigger and someone, Winner de Poo (as in Winnie's Poo). Poor thing!
Anyway, there is always so much things to do that i lost count. And i have to accept the fact that some things just never get done. So be it.
Good nites with a big big smile on my face! =))))

K.O.
U know, after some time, it's not about the pain anymore. The issue now becomes the addiction to the pain reliever, which in fact is causing more pain.
Paradox?
Irony?
Epiphany.
And i don't only mean Opioids.
Many things happened this two days.. too many.
Yawns. Good nite.
*Note: I don't even know whether i'm using the words correctly. My eyes are barely open.. now, Fairfarren to quote the Mad Hatter from Wonderland.

x-Site-urd!
Well well, i finally signed up for UniGym today, with mum's approval. =)
I know, i know.. but you still gotta let Mum know, right?
So, Pai Gu Po @ yy has already signed up and has been joining the classes, having all the fun to herself and not sharing it with her other wonder five members. Milkshake Popo (which has now moved on to making soy milk instead of milkshakes) @ Jiena was as excited as me when i said i would love to sign up for the gym membership so 2 of us are in. Recycle Po @ Joyce was a teeny bit moved but still needs more time to sit on it. Toilet Po @ Maria has finally agreed to join us, though with MUCH persuasion! YAY! I can so imagine us going for Zumba or Box-It and laughing at each other's disjointed movements (well, initially at least - but maybe yy would be very good at it already since she is wayyy ahead of us ;p), punching each other instead of the punching bags, and sharing precious moments together on our very last year. Well, i hope this does not make you even more obliged to join, Toilet Po. :D
So, what i am so excited about is that we're going to be taking care of Ting Ting at home tomorrow morning, go to the gym in the afternoon and then watch Alice In Wonderland 3D at night. Sounds like an exciting day already, doesn't it?
I was reading this girl's blog, whom i don't actually know personally, and she put up a video clip about Jamie Oliver urging the people of this generation to join him in his Food Revolution, bringing food education to schools, teaching people to how to cook again (apparently this is the 3rd generation of people in America who has not been taught how to cook at home) and fighting obesity. There were quite a few interesting facts that i didn't know, for example children not even knowing the names of the vegetables, calling tomatoes, potatoes and eggplants, pears. What shocked me was that even Milk has loads of sugar in it too. MY! What else is still healthy and safe to eat? Well, thanks to Jamie Oliver, and to this girl, i am considering alternatives to low-fat milk.
Now, let me tell you how i got to read this girl's blog. I was looking for some home-recipes and found her mum's blog. I was thrilled to find that this lady came from KK and then casually visited her daughter's blog, only to find that she was from TTSS as well. I'm not sure whether to add links here to their blogs, maybe not.. but their blogs have good photos, interesting contents and links to other nice blogs.
Anyway, i was also reading a devotion sent by our leader and he said this, "truly ask ourselves where our heart really is.."
It got me thinking and i pictured my heart being something like this..
All scattered, here and there. Focusing and thinking about a million things. Sometimes here, sometimes there, and other times, neither here nor there. Family, studies, health, friends, future... when actually it needs only to focus on one thing and everything else will fall into place..
John Bevere said "one thing, and that is intimacy with God.."
"But seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." - Matthew 6:33
"Teach me You way, O Lord, and I will walk in Your truth; give me an undivided heart, that i may fear You name." - Psalm 86:11
Have a great weekend everyone!

Back to Ree-eh-li-tee
Now, where do i start?
Holidays back home was SUPERB, i would do it again.. and again.. and again.. and not get tired of it.
I spent precious time with my family, friends.. oh ya, i think i left it there the last time.
Continuing from that, i said my goodbyes right in the middle of Chinese New Year celebration. Came back to Hobart with mum and sis-in-law.
Classes came straight on and FULL ON too. No dilly dally, no formal introductions, no 'no-pracs-n-tutes-till-week-2' sort of thing. Everything came right on and i had RMMR (Residential Medication Management Review), Clinical rounds, Practicals, classes, tutes, name it all. And all this while bringing mum and sis-in-law for shopping, eating, coffee-ing, sight-seeing (a little), and not forgetting Connect Group meetings and Tea & Coffee. Wow, i wouldn't say i was still on holiday then but i tried to keep the stress as far from me as possible until my 2 precious guests leave (they won't wanna see me all stressed up). But now that they've left, reality sets in. No more delays or pushing aside work that needs to be done and no more excuses. I really need to do lots of study this year, practise and brush up my verbal communication skills, really do as much as i can for my honours and also, be a good connect group leader. =)
So much to do aye? And oh, i really mustn't forget about EXERCISE.
Anyway, i went with mum and sis-in-law to Melbourne. And we witnessed a chaotic hailstorm there which turned Melbourne upside down (not literally, and yes i think i am exaggerating a little bit here). Well, i didn't see much more of Melbourne than i did the previous times but i really treasured the moments i spent with my dear friend Jing Harn and my beloved aunt. I thank God that during this 2 weeks, i got to spend lots of time with 4 important persons in my life that i have never had the chance to spend much time with. Thank you, God.
Well, i can go on and on about my life now but i'll keep that to meself. =)
I just wanna share that God has been faithful and good to me. Even in times i felt like it's a mistake, be it mine or somebody else's, God still shows me how He can turn things around and that it wasn't really a mistake after all! And i'm grateful that there's someone higher watching over me! =)
No one needs to understand this: If you had a blog then, what would it say? Would it have the same kind of words, same kind of poems, tell me the same things as this person is trying to tell the other? Would you? How could u, how could u..
i must let go, and let go i must.
picture taken from loveinthefire.wordpress.com/
And a quote i made up myself "The sky is NOT the limit!" Cheers! =)

Would you? How could u, how could u..
i must let go, and let go i must.
picture taken from loveinthefire.wordpress.com/And a quote i made up myself "The sky is NOT the limit!" Cheers! =)
