I had great fun playing in the playground today! As 'young' as we are, we still found pleasure and excitement in playing in a children's playground.
We competed against each other to see who swings the highest, we had to climb the net, go over the other side and climb down again, we had to see who can run up the stairs and glide down the slide in the fastest time.. and we played silly things! Thank God, we didn't break any of the miniature equipment there.
When i looked back at the video of how we tried to fit 2 person in a swinging chair and swing from side to side, i laughed til my tummy ached, laughing almost as hard as i was when i was sitting on the swinging chair itself! So, we swung from one side to another, each person trying to make the chair lean towards their side and all the while our hair flew here and there, our heads were flinging around, and sometimes we fall off the chair, it was hilarious!
We also played on the all-time-favourite, the see saw and we bumped our butts up and down, up and down.. but you know, the lighter person always gets it and she feels like she was riding on a wild horse!
Also, i introduced the 'Pepsi, Cola, 1 2 3' game to me friends and this is the 2nd time we played it already! So fun!
Anyway, all this is made possible only cos the weather was great! =)
And of course, good company.
Well, at least.. company who'll tell you that Calculation Test is THIS friday, not next! Phew!
Anyway, i figured i should start doing what i preach. I once told a friend, "You have to take responsibility for things that has happened and not blame others for how things turned out to be. Not that you should blame yourself and feel bad about it, but to own up to it and and say yes, i made a mistake and i'll fix it so that i can do better next time.."
Well, that is probably just what i should do now. =)
Has anyone watched the 'Bachelor', 'Bachelorette' or 'The farmer wants a wife' shows before? I think they are just ridiculous and wu liao. I mean, how can anyone be allowed to go out with 10 guys or 10 girls at the same time, get to kiss and hug them, get to spend time with them, say sweet things and give promises to ALL of them! Then, send them home one by one, all hurt. And finally only choosing one. I was quite excited to watch the shows at first but now that i saw the final episode of 'Bachelorette', i think it is just absolutely ridiculous! Lousy!
Hehe. Ya, my true colours coming out! =p
Tomorrow's my free day, yipppeeee~!
We're going to replant our radish by moving it from the pot to the ground! Yay! We'll have to do that already cos they're just bursting out of the pot! And did i mention that we have an extensive veggie patch? with lettuces, spinach, chilli, radish, wombok, rocket, bok choy, carrots, watermelon, zucchini and some flowers too! =)
Alrights, good night now! God bless!

Right? Right? :D
All i wanna say is that sometimes how our hearts feel and how our minds think can be quite contradictory. And it confuses me all of the time!
But i'm going to ask you, Lord, to reconcile my heart and my mind so that they are aligned to Your ways and Your ways alone.
I've gone too far now, i'm not going to turn back! =)
I've got a new chatbox at the side, thanks to my lazy-to-sign-in-to-comment-friend! Please feel free to leave me a message there, i'll be thrilled to find one when i log on to my blog to see a message there just for me! =)
My days are getting busier! Hope i keep myself paced steadily.
Keep well, everyone!

To find the 'YET' in the midst of..
Alicia again spoke powerfully in the morning service today, so much so that i bought the CD so that i can share it with someone else.
The last time she spoke, she expounded on the powerful truth that God is good, that the seasons of our lives and whatever we experience do not change the very nature of God. No matter what we face, the truth is still that God IS good.
Today, she talked about how Faith can bring us through tough times, and help us find the 'YET' in the midst of anything and everything, how against all hopes, we can be fully persuaded that God has the power to do what He had promised (Romans 4:18-24).
Here are 2 verses where we can find the 'Yet' factor:
"Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls,
YET I WILL REJOICE IN THE LORD, I WILL BE JOYFUL IN GOD MY SAVIOUR."
Habakkuk 3:17-18
"Why are you downcast, O my soul?
Why so disturbed within me?
Put your hope in God,
FOR I WILL YET PRAISE HIM, MY SAVIOUR AND MY GOD."
Psalm 42:5
I think i blogged about this before, maybe in my previous blog @ www.mizluvl33@multiply.com
but anyway, i still wanna talk about it. :p
Because it is so important, so so important to me that i do not forget that i have a powerful tool i can use when i'm in despair, something that can lift my head up to God and lift me out of my circumstances no matter how big, how nasty, how impossible, how hopeless it may seem.
YET! There is hope! We have a YET! In all circumstances, YET i can still praise Him, YET i will set my eyes on Jesus, YET i will lift up my eyes and my heart and my soul to Him, YET i will trust in Him, YET i will believe in His love, YET i will stand tall, YET.. YET i will still love Him.
YET i know, that He never fails. He is God and God is love. And love never fails. God will never fail me. He never will. No matter how things turn out to be, no matter how different it is from my perception of a good outcome, i know.. i know.. that He knows best. His ways are higher, His thoughts are not my thoughts and His ways are higher!
I have been through that and i can testify that He never fails when we hang on to Him and put our trust fully on Him. But having been through tough times only makes it easier, not all the time easy.
So i will hang on to this truth that i will YET praise Him and He will see me through.
Thank you, Jesus. =)
I am reading a book called 'Gifted Hands'. It's a book about the life of Dr. Ben Carson. He's a famous neurosurgeon who apparently was the first to ever successfully separate siamese twins. Correct me if i'm wrong cos i'm only slightly less than halfway through the book. His story is definitely one that's very inspiring and i particularly love this quote of his (so far), "I have sunshine in my heart regardless of conditions around me". Jesus is my sunshine!
And another short quote from his music teacher, "Put the first things first".
Well, that's all for now, i've got to get back to my Ethics Application! =)
Have a good week ahead!

Mooncake festival @ Tassie
Mooncake festival's not until the 3rd of October but the UTAS Chinese Society whose Vice President is our dear Magic Wolf, decided to organise it a week earlier.
And just to give face to our dear friend, we went for this event. ;p
It was fun, just that i felt a bit annoyed that i had to be in a group with people i don't know! :D
Just pulling your leg, Maria Wong!
And despite the fun, the food was really good! The curry, the fried rice and noodles, the wedges, the popiah, the pickled veg, etc. And our poor Maria nearly chopped off her 2 fingers. Poor wolf!
We had to make a lantern too! And guess what, we got number 3!!! yippee~! Thanks to baby who got us some votes and of course, we make a good team! =) Thanks also to the people who voted for us and someone, whom i have already thanked on our way out. "I wanna also thank my mama, my papa......" HAHA! Sorry, i just thought of a friend who was anything but boring and she loooves to say that!
See our nice little star lantern with frills at the bottom?
Us with the mooncakes which were a little less than we'd like it to be :D
Us with the pressies!
Still praying for our precious baby girl, get well soon love! I've yet to hear any news about her today.
Church tomorrow and the last day of my weekend. So much for free and easy weeks! My week ahead's gonna start with clinical round on Monday, Tute on Tuesday and Prac on Thursday! The following week will be Calculation Test and the one after will be THERAPEUTICS ORAL TEST! Oh my, i am already having tachycardia just by the mention of that scary, terrifying, RIDICULOUSLY NERVE-WRACKING test!
Anyway, it will be study week and exams afterwards. So i'll have to get meself working already!
Count down to home: 13 weeks! Weeee~! *jumps up and down*
Well, my heart's dreaming of home now but my mind's all occupied with the work i have to do. My body however is wandering off to dreamland now. So, cheers!

Be strong, our precious little one
Lord, have mercy and wake our precious one up.
We are going to fast and pray for our dear girl tomorrow and we shall shower her with lots and lots of prayers.
My other supervisor mentioned that my project study might not officially start until next year, what am i gonna do? Lord, i need a miracle myself too!
Anyway, baby is more important now! Please pray for her too, she is a very precious miracle baby, not only to her parents but to all of us who know her.
I've not met you yet, baby. I want to see her, Lord.
"No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me, declares the Lord." - Isaiah 54: 17
Just wanna share with you the lyrics of the chorus of a song called "The God I Know" by City Harvest Church.
The God I know
Righteous and Holy
The God I know
Faithful and true
The God I know
My tower of refuge
Hearts are healed
Christ revealed
The God I know
Light of the City
The God I know
Strengthens the weak
The God I know
Your heart beats within me
As You are, so are we
Pray with me.

Happy Birthday dear girl!
Today is a dear little girl's birthday! I shall not reveal her identity but she is someone dear to me.
I don't have much to give her on this very special day..
But I do have a prayer..
My dear Lord Jesus,
I praise You for this little precious,
I thank You for this life that matters,
This little girl that's more valuable than treasures .
May you bring her up as the apple of Your eye,
That all may see her pretty smile,
And her beautiful eyes that so brightly shines,
As she twirls and skips around with style.
May she grow up knowing You,
Loving You and obeying You,
For no one loves her like You do,
May You alone be her pursue.
May her life shine like the stars in the sky,
As You wipe away her tears when she cries,
May You shower abundant blessings in her life,
And spare her from all grieve and strife.
Protect this little child this day,
No matter when she sleeps or play,
Give her strength throughout the day,
As she does her chores, sings, draws and prays.
Bless her sisters, her mum and her dad,
Provide her with food and a shelter over her head,
Let her not worry about what lies ahead,
For we know that by Your hand, she'd be led.
Thank You Jesus, i am trully blessed~!
Dyed magic wolf's hair today and it was bright red brown! HAHA!
I have these random snapshots of good old times flashing through my mind at really random times of the day, when i'm in lectures, when i talking to my friends, when i'm in the shower, just anytime and anywhere and about anything! That's a bit annoying sometimes cos it distracts me.. But maybe it's that time of the year i'm thinking about home again.
I'm reminiscing about Tanjung Aru beach, my grandpa's house, the playground outside my house, the CNY celebrations we have in Labuan, mum and po's cooking.. all sorts of different places and different events.. Well, i have nothing to worry about cos i'm going home in 12 weeks! 3 MONTHS! WeeEEEeeeeEEEEeee~!
Having said that, i enjoy being here alot too. The beautiful skies, fresh crisp air, the magnificent Mt Wellington, the deep blue sea, the swing at the esplanade, my flowers and veggies, my soft and fluffy quilt, yoghurt cheese and chocolate, no lizards(!), and most of all, ME FRIENDS! Friends to dye your hair, friends to walk you home (cos they stay with you), friends to wake you up when you oversleep, friends to go crazy with, friends to fight and laugh your heads off with, friends to remind you about important things, and most of all friends to love...
I'm gonna miss every bit of these when i graduate and go home next year! Especially the lizard part..
I have also been thinking about a very deep and serious question lately, one which i have yet to come up with a satisfying answer.
If i were to die tomorrow, what would i do now? What would matter the most?...
Do you have an answer?
"And if you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? Be perfect, therefore as your heavenly Father is perfect."

Something worth staying up for
I am chatting with my bestest friend now, and it's been some time now since we chatted, laughed, reminisce, encouraged each other, talked about life's ups and downs and making fun of each other.
It has also been sometime now since i've slept this late but again, who cares (this is for you, che!). To me, it's something worth staying up for, once in a while... ;p
She's a high school friend. We used to mess up each other's hair, pull out each other's shirts (which is against the school's rules!), quarrel until we cry and stop talking to each other, fight and hit each other so hard until the area being hit becomes red and itchy..
You see, she was the head prefect and i was the assistant class monitor and we are both supposed to show good examples. Instead, we fought with each other in front of the girls' toilet during breaks, we talked in class until the teacher had to ask us to stop talking, we changed seats in class when we're not supposed to, instead of throwing rubbish we put it in each other's pockets, we pass notes in class and talk about what happened in 'All about Eve' the night before when the teacher's teaching in front, elbow wrestle with each other in class... etc etc etc..
But somehow it's really funny how it started, she says it started with a birthday card she gave me cos she felt like she wanted to make friends with me, but i thought it was because of someone we know in common, some habit of that someone, something that makes us go 'yeeee' but also 'hahaha! hahaha! HAHAHA!'.. Anyway, doesn't matter how it happened, i'm just glad it did.
She is someone whom i don't have to say anything and she can tell by my facial expression what is going on, she is someone, who like me cannot stand this...
"Hey, guess what?"
"What?"
"Nothing lah..."
She is someone who likes to write lonnnggggg poetic messages to me on my birthdays and also the day i left for Tassie, with pretty pictures and stuff that made me cry my eyes out on the plane.
She may be the one who started all this but i must say, i am the one who always speaks first to end all the cold wars!
I won't be able to count all the times we cried quarelling with each other, all the times we laughed and made fun of each other, all the times we made each other fall and embarrass ourselves, all the times we argued about life about God, all the times we did things for each other.. and how many times we spoke words to encourage each other even when we didn't really know what's going on with each other and yet the words speak right to the heart at that very moment, for that season, in that situation..
And when we got older, we put our childish ways behind..
And it feels like nothing can break the friendship. Not distance, not silence, not time, not quarrels. But who knows someday, something might challenge our friendship...
I thank God for a friend like her. My life would have been quite different had i not met her. Maybe, less stress, less wrinkles i'll get in the future from crying about silly things, less injuries.. but definitely less FUN, less JOY, less ADVENTURES and truly i wouldn't have known what a true friend is like.
Oh, she has requested that i mention about the recent beach outing with a friend li hua, where we got crazy pushing each other into the water and splashing all over like mad girls while poor li hua stood by the side watching us go mad! And also the late night we had talking about *ahem* secrets some many years ago.
And this is to remind us about the many adventures we had when we were young, should we get Alzheimer's one day. But of course, we won't cos we are mentally active people. =p
I should rephrase my title tho, it's 'someone' worth staying up for, i'm sorry i spoke of you as a 'thing', friend. Hah!
Oh, and she says again, "don't miss this out, still remember our friendship mangrove tree?"
Yeah, we planted 2 trees side by side each other at the Bird Sanctuary when we went to sort of help clean up the place and pick up rubbish, plus plant new trees. But i doubt we'll be able to find the 2 trees now. Well, we can just say that it's in our hearts. =)
And oh, the jogathon she pursuaded me to go for. So we walked for and together with the disabled to raise funds, which was a good cause. =) The thing is, i was driving that day. And as we arrived, we saw a nice tiny parking spot so I parked swiftly, right into that spot but i didn't realise how tiny the spot was until we both couldn't get out of the car! It was really close i was stunned at how i actually got into that spot. I didn't tell my sis about it tho, it was her car i was driving. =p
Anyways, before she starts telling me to put down more stuff here, i will stop and head to meet with my bed real soon. But before that, i'm letting out a secret.. when she was younger, she bit her sister's cheek! =p
Sorry friend, you are allowed to do this to me in your blog next time!
This is just a tiny bit of all that we've been through together as world's bestest friends, and i hope we'll create more memories in the years to come!
Continuation from previous post: Lord, increase my creativity and spontaneity. I want to love you more and love life more! And Lord, let me see more lost souls saved! Thank You, Jesus!
You make all things work together for my good!

Living in the increase!
Ps Annie went up to the pulpit today and said "Welcome to the family.." as we were ending our praise and worship session..
And she went on to say, "..except that we're a family in pain today.."
Someone dear to her has gone to be with the Lord this morning and it grieved the hearts of many in church today. This lady, who has just passed away, was there when Ps Lucas and Ps Annie first started the church here in Tassie and was with them all the way until few years back, when she moved to Sydney with her family to start their own church.
I don't know this lady personally and neither have i seen her, all i know is that the leaders of my church are grieved. They cried and that made me cry. So we, as a church, prayed with them, fighting for and alongside the husband and the 4 kids who are left behind.
It was really a touching moment and we rejoice for the life she has lived. She was serving God till the very last moment.
Ps Lucas preached about living a life of increase today. And i want that.. i want to ask God for more.. more in my life, more in the lives of those around me, more in every situation, more in every season..
Lord, i want to increase..
in wisdom and in love, in understanding and in peace,
in hope and in freedom, in joy and in grace,
in mercy and forgiveness, in strength and effectiveness,
my capacity to give and to take in, to serve and to love,
increase my generosity, Lord.. and the capacity of my heart.
Today when Ps Lucas mentioned this verse, which is very familiar to me because of an old song, i felt great relief and enlightenment, i felt like something was lifted from me...
I felt such peace and joy that there will be no end to the increase of my Father's house and His government. Praise Him! I hope it blesses you too. God bless!
"Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end..." - Isaiah 9:7
And she went on to say, "..except that we're a family in pain today.."

Sorry, I really meant SOME..
I'm really sorry if i haven't mentioned how important you are to me in the last post.
Those whose pics i have put up are really A FEW of the people who are dear to me and i didn't mean to leave out the rest. I guess i won't continue to name the others so that i don't leave anyone out again :p I'm sure, in the many posts to come, i will inevitably mention about all those who matter to me. So don't worry, it's coming! :))
Everyone whom God has graciously put into my life, is like a treasure to me. How much of my life i get to spend with you, i cannot help.. but i hope in every moment that i have with you, we get to create fond memories of each other.
Change of topic:
Did you know that the 3 loops of the Pretzel represents the Holy Trinity? See, TV is good, sometimes.. ;)
I saw Madonna Grimes on "Dance your ass off" just now. I think i saw her somewhere before. Was it che's workout DVDs? Anyway, i learnt some of the hip hop dance steps from her via youtube. Cool~! Maybe my dancing genes will start to express themselves again with some stimulation..
I really have to get some work done now.. i have been watching TOO MUCH TV! :S
And Lord, let me not forget You.. let me not forget You.. let me NOT forget You... when i play.
Jesus, deal with me as i continue to hold on to You. I know You know best.
"I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go." Isaiah 48:17

Moving on and Getting there
Today has been a very very interesting day. It started off very early in the morning, at about 4.15am.
Yes, 4.15AM!
It was someone's idea to get up early in the morning and start fasting at 5am, together with the Muslims as they fast for Ramadhan. It's Malaysia day today, also Sabah day, so we sort of joined them in their fast and pray for our country on this special day.
So YAY! Happy Malaysia Day to my beloved country. I LOVE MALAYSIA no matter what people say!
Off we went to meet at the college's kitchen and i had a piece of toast with honey, which wasn't quite enough to last me until dinner time, when we're supposed to buka puasa/break fast.
We then proceeded to watch the magnificent sunrise! It was absolutely breath-taking with beautiful colours painted in the sky and the sun slowly creeping out from behind the mountains and the sea. WOOH!
Today is a free day for me, so we waited and chatted till Food Store @ South Hobart opened for business and we quickly went there for a big breakfast before we officially start our fast for the day. Cheating, i know! :p
And we had a good chat talking about God, life, future and stuff. Thanks S & N. It was a refreshing time!
I came home planning to sleep but ended up vacuuming the floor, watching Dr Phil and Oprah Winfrey, playing with Isabella, planting 6 small pots of flowers, the Baby Blue Eyes and some Poppies. Yes, Californian Poppy! =p but no, no morphine.
I took a nap after folding the clothes that have been messily stacked up in my wardrobe for ages. Che, i miss you the most during these times!
You know, i will really miss the times i have with my friends at uni when i graduate end of next year. The times when we run around lecture halls chasing each other, laughing and teasing each other about our weird habits. Like someone who moves her body when she says something, or someone who bows when she says thank u or sorry, or someone whose hometown language is 'miao miao', or someone who speaks to her baby in a funny cartooney voice... Nothing will be able to replace these memories and how i thank God for putting such fun and weird people in the class with me! haha! i love you Joyce, i love you Jiena, i love you Mariaaaaaa! Potato llama loves juicy zombie, magic wolf and the weird mummy.
And hello Cathrine San! Welcome to my blog and thanks for being such a blessing to me all these years and all the while! :)) It's so much fun elongating your neck! :p
I'm hoping to get the photos i need from everyone else's camera as soon as possible so that i can post them up here. :) i don't have my own camera since the day i lost my navigator :(
Just want to share with you a verse we have been talking about lately.
"Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen." - Ephesians 3:20-21
So think BIG! :)

Anyway, following what Ps Lucas said today, and Chuck Pierce's devotions, i'll continue to ask God what is this new thing He is stirring up in me.
You're my love
You're my joy
You're my everlasting peace..
Count down : 3 months / 13 weeks to HOME! :)

Oh, happy day!
Less than 3 hours of classes and off we went to start off our beautiful day!
We went to buy groceries, had lunch at home and headed off to Rosny just for the sake of using up our bus tickets.
When we finally got on the bus, the ticketing machine was NOT there and the bus driver waved his hand, "Get on, free ride." Startled, we took the free ride, and another free ride and a few more free rides.
So much for wanting to use up our tickets haha! I think they're having a transition period to take off the old machines and install new ones. Meanwhile, we get to have free rides! WEEE~!
We wandered around Rosny Park, each having our favourite BOOST drink in hand, bought some stuff *shy*, lepak in some of the shops and headed home for yummy fried rice dinner and Lord of the Rings Part One. Yeah, i am that outdated. I never really wanted to watch it until now, since it's on TV.
Side track: Legolas, thou art so charming when thou shoots the arrow!
In between all the breaks, we danced and sang and juggled just to entertain our little queen Isabella. Ah, the joys of having a little bundle of joy at home!
There'll be more happening tomorrow with a morning jog planned, then German pastry for breakfast, planting our Chinese Wombok and Radish, Salamanca, more bus rides and free hot choc at the casino and, making brownies for Sunday lunch at Nancy's. Well, i hope it won't be too bad in comparison to Nancy's cooking! Che has so kindly typed the recipe for me on the phone and sent it to me via SMS.
I cannot be more content with what i have now and i thank you dear Lord, for your grace and mercy, goodness and faithfulness. Let me not forget You even when i play.
Have a blessed weekend!

Long looong day
And it started off at 7am when my alarm started ringing. When i finally got out of bed it was 7.20am. Got ready, had breakfast and off i went to uni, alone. Joyce's working today and Jiena decided to skip Therapeutics today cos Hao's leaving. Yeah, i skipped Therapeutics the day che left too.
Therapeutics and more therapeutics.. Pharm Science.. Chemotherapy.. finally, Pharmacokinetics, the last lecture of the day. Just when you think 5 lectures is enough for one day, you'd have to think again cos i had to go for a 3-hour practical session in the afternoon. Well, i don't get these long days alot, sometimes we have FREE days with absolutely no lecture, no tute, no clinical rounds and no pracs at all. :)
And since i wasn't really tired, i went for a short jog and planned to go Grove tonight. Val offered to send me there and i happily accepted the offer only to realise that we were half an hour early and Val was running late for her dinner. So, we decided i could go another time. So much for wanting to enjoy worship on a tired Thursday night. Well, i got home and sat through Home & away, Garry unmarried and Gossip Girl with Jiena whose boyfriend has just left for Sydney. And oh, we also watched this programme called Catalyst that talks about all things related to science and we saw these cute little creatures known as the Weedy Sea Dragon. They look very much like sea horses with sea weed sticking out from every side of their body. And they come in different sorts of colours.
Which reminds me of the video Andrew showed us today at Chemo, with a round worm wiggling inside someone's colon! YUCKS! I got goosebumps all over when i looked at how the round worm wiggle and wiggle and imagine someone having a bucket load of those worms. Just the thought of it makes me go YEEEWWW!
Andrew can be really funny, sometimes. He was teaching Therapeutics as well today and he was talking about Age-related Macular Degeneration (damage to eye which can lead to blindness). One of the lifestyle risk factors is having a history of smoking within the past 20 years. And so he said, "the only thing you can tell the patients is to invent a time machine, go back 20 years and stop smoking.." *sweats*
Anyway, we've got bus rides to use up cos Metro's introducing the GREENCARD apparently and we won't be able to use our previous bus tickets anymore. SO, Jiena and i will be heading wherever the bus takes us for the next few days just to use them up and save us having to apply for a refund of a few dollars. So, spa? rosny? city? seven mile beach? swimming? WOOO HOO~!
Now, just before i head off to bed and end my long long day, i just want to share with you this cute little song sang by Hillsong Kids. It's a medley called "I'm so glad/You are here (The Same Power)" and it's from the album Follow You. Try listening to it, it's really cute! I really love the part where they sing,
I'm so glad You're here, I'm so glad You're near..
Cos I need You, Yes I need You...
Whenever I feel a bit restless inside, peace quickly comes and i smile to myself when i remember this song. :)
GOod nigghhhhtt! Yawns~!

It's divine!
Recently, i have been mumbling and grumbling and complaining much to God about things i am so not happy about. And YES that makes me more frustrated, more tired, more angry, and i feel like i'm going on the merry-go-round, except that there's nothing merry about it.
Nevertheless, God continues to be faithful even when i'm totally faith-less! He shows me time and again that He is in control and He knows what is going on although i don't.
And all the time, i can only say "Wow, that's so divine!" I mean, no one else could have done that.
One very special incident happened recently. I was on placement in a Pharmacy which takes me about 1 hours to get to everyday. The people there were very nice to me, just that i felt like the owner didn't really like me being there. I felt like he didn't trust me to do the things in the dispensary, and i felt like he didn't really want me, a student, there.
I was quite upset and when i heard about how my friends were doing at their placements, i got a little discouraged. I am upset at why God placed me there when i am supposed to have His favour on me. I should be put in a place where everyone can see that i'm more blessed! Hmph!
However, i persevered. I did my work diligently, i put on a smile always, i was friendly to everyone there and i loved the staff there. I only try to avoid standing beside the owner. ;p
Then on the last day, the owner didn't come to the Pharmacy. I made a card for them and bought them chocolates. In my heart, i didn't really want to put down the owner's name in my card. HAHA! But i did anyway, cos we are supposed to thank our preceptors and they are suppose to make us like 'kuli'.
Anyway, it happened that he got his staff to get me a present and when i saw the present, carefully wrapped up in shining silver paper with a pink ribbon on it, i couldn't even believe my eyes. and i asked, "it's for me!?? for me??? but, really??"
I have never heard of preceptors that give presents to their students. NEVER! But apparently this owner does and apparently he is a very nice guy. I'm sorry! I had so many misconceptions about you :(
Our placements have been arranged by the coordinator at uni months ago. And God prepared for me to go to this Pharmacy then. You mean, God prepared it since so long ago?
What is even more amazing is that, that very same morning i was telling God how i could really use a new bottle of perfume. And guess what, it was a cute bottle of perfume that costs about $40! So God knew i was going to ask for a bottle of perfume since March? I was totally speechless. But if you think i'd be dumbfolded, not complaining or asking for anything more, you're wrong!
I said to God, uhm, what a coincidence! How about some flowers tomorrow. I was really kidding. But God wasn't. The very next day, my 2 good friends brought me a bouquet of purple tulips. YES! PURPLE! and TULIPS! Goodness gracious! My God rocks! He is totally not kidding man. He knows what you're thinking!
And as i have always believed, when He blesses you with a gift or a miracle, it is always always the BEST! It will come in the best form, in the best way, at the best time and it would never have worked out better! Cos HE'S THE BEST! :)
That was just one of the many divine encounters. GOD IS GOOD, ALL THE TIME! Even when nothing around you is looking good. So, keep praising Him, keep thanking Him, He who keeps watch over you!
And, did i tell you my new bottle of perfume is called Funny? ;)

YAY!
YAY! thank you Jesus that Mr Gxxxx has finally, FINALLY replied me saying that there isn't much that i need to do about the funding application. YAY again! But apparently, he is sick at home. Is that to me make feel bad about chasing him? :|
Dad asked me to 'assess' and then 'decide' whether to continue my honours. I better not complain more to him since (i think) it worries him. And he keeps saying "i'm ok with it if you don't want to continue on. No point doing it if you are stressed out about it". hee.
Thanks daddy but, i think i will continue for now. :D
I spent the afternoon with baby Isabella just now. The first time, just me and her. :)))

I'm slowly moving up the Bristol Stool Chart!
I mentioned that i had food poisoning last week, and so i vomited, and had diarrhoea. Really watery diarrhoea. Like pee that is coming out of the wrong place and has a very wrong colour. I'm disgusting, i know. HAHA! and to be even more disgusting, i am going to tell you that it has slowly become more solid the last few days. Thank God! :D
To illustrate my point, i am going to introduce to you the Bristol Stool Chart. Something i learnt from Therapeutics this year.

I guess the chart is pretty easy to understand by itself. What i want to say is that it was Type 7 the other day, it has slowly moved up the chart and now it's Type 5.
And if you're really interested, Type 4 is the best! :)
My supervisors Dr Gxxxx and Dr Cxxxxxxxx are really making me go crazy!!! I have to apply for Ethics as well as funding for my honours study. We have to get the funding application into Royal Hobart Hospital by next Monday and they are still not replying my emails!!!! :(
I am really not looking forward to last minute write-ups again. I don't wanna receive an email on Friday, asking me to write something up by Monday. NO!!! I don't wanna get a heart attack please my dear supervisors, have mercy on me and REPLY ME EMAILS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

New Layout and Stuff
Woo~! This new layout looks so childish man, and with the picture of the 3 dolls on top, i feel like i'm writing a kid's fun page. Anyway, i like it this way for now, after 2 hours of fiddling with this layout thing.
Just thought i'd keep this blog going.
Have been going for placements, had my mid-sem break, had food poisoning, and have i ever mentioned that i'm doing honours?
So so much have been happening and i just won't start filling in all the details of what has happened over the past few months. Mainly, Che came in June (YAY!), been busy with uni work, connect group's growing, and lots of other personal stuff which i will not detail here.
Heartaches after heartaches i've endured yet God is still faithful, God is still good.
He makes all things work for our good in His time... but seriously, when is the time Lord? When is all these ever going to end? :(
Amidst all these, other good things has happened and praise the Lord, thank you Jesus.
All i can do now is just keep thanking the Lord, thanking the Lord, thanking the Lord...
No, no no no no no.. i mean, thanking the Lord, thanking the Lord, thanking the LORD!!!
i miss you, Che.
