I know, i know.. but you still gotta let Mum know, right?
So, Pai Gu Po @ yy has already signed up and has been joining the classes, having all the fun to herself and not sharing it with her other wonder five members. Milkshake Popo (which has now moved on to making soy milk instead of milkshakes) @ Jiena was as excited as me when i said i would love to sign up for the gym membership so 2 of us are in. Recycle Po @ Joyce was a teeny bit moved but still needs more time to sit on it. Toilet Po @ Maria has finally agreed to join us, though with MUCH persuasion! YAY! I can so imagine us going for Zumba or Box-It and laughing at each other's disjointed movements (well, initially at least - but maybe yy would be very good at it already since she is wayyy ahead of us ;p), punching each other instead of the punching bags, and sharing precious moments together on our very last year. Well, i hope this does not make you even more obliged to join, Toilet Po. :D
So, what i am so excited about is that we're going to be taking care of Ting Ting at home tomorrow morning, go to the gym in the afternoon and then watch Alice In Wonderland 3D at night. Sounds like an exciting day already, doesn't it?
I was reading this girl's blog, whom i don't actually know personally, and she put up a video clip about Jamie Oliver urging the people of this generation to join him in his Food Revolution, bringing food education to schools, teaching people to how to cook again (apparently this is the 3rd generation of people in America who has not been taught how to cook at home) and fighting obesity. There were quite a few interesting facts that i didn't know, for example children not even knowing the names of the vegetables, calling tomatoes, potatoes and eggplants, pears. What shocked me was that even Milk has loads of sugar in it too. MY! What else is still healthy and safe to eat? Well, thanks to Jamie Oliver, and to this girl, i am considering alternatives to low-fat milk.
Now, let me tell you how i got to read this girl's blog. I was looking for some home-recipes and found her mum's blog. I was thrilled to find that this lady came from KK and then casually visited her daughter's blog, only to find that she was from TTSS as well. I'm not sure whether to add links here to their blogs, maybe not.. but their blogs have good photos, interesting contents and links to other nice blogs.
Anyway, i was also reading a devotion sent by our leader and he said this, "truly ask ourselves where our heart really is.."
It got me thinking and i pictured my heart being something like this..
All scattered, here and there. Focusing and thinking about a million things. Sometimes here, sometimes there, and other times, neither here nor there. Family, studies, health, friends, future... when actually it needs only to focus on one thing and everything else will fall into place..John Bevere said "one thing, and that is intimacy with God.."
"But seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." - Matthew 6:33
"Teach me You way, O Lord, and I will walk in Your truth; give me an undivided heart, that i may fear You name." - Psalm 86:11
Have a great weekend everyone!
